At 4 a.m. on Sunday, our transport staff loaded 41 canine on a aircraft to security.
These pets got here from 9 overcrowded, under-resourced Texas animal shelters the place they confronted demise. Caramel, Roux, Penn, Crimson, and 37 different canine have been flown to shelters in Idaho, Utah, and Colorado, to be adopted into loving properties.
Austin Pets Alive! and American Pets Alive! coordinated this lifesaving transport, connecting the Texas shelters with receiving organizations Animal Buddies Alliance, Idaho Humane Society, Freedom Sure Hounds, My Second House Rescue, and Paws for Life Utah.
